From 9th to 15 th February 2020 Tomas Bata Business Academy in Zlin had a privillege to host  students and teachers from our partner schools. The topic of the mobility was math. Therefore students came up with loads of digital games focused on practising math skills.

The event started  outside the school with an opening ceremony supported by national colours inspired by Olympics ceremonies. Then the students took a quiz tour around Zlin. The intention was to enjoy the competition as well as to learn new facts about the host city and to see Zlin landmarks.

​

The other important mission was to present the best digital games at three Zlin elementary schools. It was a great success. Both the pupils and their teachers loved it.

​

When talking about the digital games it is crucial to say that the games were properly assessed by the students from the other countries. It was a really tough job and the students spent on it the whole afternoon.

​

Anyway, a mobility is not just about work. The host school organized an amazing tour at the local ZOO. The visitors could admire the famous tropical pavillon but also other samples of nature beauty.

​

At the final part of the mobility the participants were split into two groups. The Portuguese team decided to take part in the workshop where they tried to make a short animated movie. While the others chose to visit the capital Prague.

​

I guess it was a great week with both work and fun.
